Knowledge platform

A platform for accompanying research on the energy transition

The knowledge platform is developed and provided by the digitalization module of the accompanying scientific research of the research initiative Energy Transition Building.

The accompanying scientific research evaluates work programs and results of the research and demonstration projects that are funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection as part of the Energy Transition Building research initiative. The aim is to process these results centrally in order to incorporate the findings sustainably into planning and decision-making practice.

The cross-evaluation of research projects, the provision of specialist information, the transfer of research results into practice and the broad communication of solution approaches are essential elements in achieving the decarbonization of buildings and neighborhoods. These services are provided through accompanying research.

A total of five modules is used to evaluate the focus of Energy Transition Building Research Initiative content, network them and develop them further (Module 1: Monitoring and Documentation, Module 2: Buildings, Module3: Neighborhoods, Module 4: Digitalization, Module 5: Networking and Communication)

Das Modul 4 (Digitalisierung) wird von der TU Berlin mit der Einstein Center Digital Future Professur für die digitale Vernetzung von Gebäuden, Energieversorgungsanlagen und Nutzenden zusammen mit der Universität der Künste Berlin und der Einstein Center Digital Future Professur Digitale Selbstbestimmung und dem Institut für ökologische Wirtschaftsforschung bearbeitet.

The knowledge platform - digitization of energy transition construction is being created as part of the research project “BF2020 accompanying research on energy transition construction - module digitization; Sub-project: TU Berlin: Knowledge Platform” (FKZ: 03EWB004A).
This project was funded with public funds from the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection based on a resolution by the German Bundestag.
